What if Dock Icons Had Launch Animations?

Neil Sardesai shared a delightful animation on Twitter, that suggested dock icons could have launch animations – he demonstrated with Safari. I love it, also his previous creation of a Finder icon whose eyes follow your cursor (for which he shared the code on GitHub).
