Algonaut revs up Atlas 2 drum kit creator

Algonaut has released Atlas 2, a major update to their drum sound finder and kit creator, bringing numerous new features and improvements to every aspect of the plugin. Atlas 2 now features a streamlined workflow for whole drum beat inspiration, with all the flourishes and details that really make beats shine. A new drum sequencer can import MIDI, create polyrhythms, mix step timings to create triplet fills, and can export MIDI/audio as a mix or stems. Drum kits can now reverse sounds and introduce imperfections with the Variation/Humanization engine. More sample types are supported now, along with other improvements to the Content Browser. Easily bring in patterns or sounds from other beats, remake and remix them, and build a library that sounds like “you”. Sometimes you want to just sit down and jump straight into trying song ideas and Atlas now promises to be the fastest way to do that while maintaining your own style.
Algonaut Atlas 2 is available now for $99. Atlas 1 owners can upgrade for $19. It requires macOS 10.13 or later and an AU or VST3 plugin host. Atlas 2 is compatible with Apple Silicon via Rosetta with native support coming soon.
