Apple announces changes in Apple Developer Program organization teams
lundi 21 janvier 2019, 10:38 , par Mac Minute
According to an updated announcement on Apple’s developer webpage, next month, the tech giant ill change the way it handles development teams for organizations, unifying individual memberships into a single set of roles across the Apple Developer website and App Store Connect.
Currently, each Apple Developer Program organization membership includes a development team with access to resources on the Apple Developer website and separate access to App Store Connect. Each site has its own set of members and roles. Apple Developer Program roles determine access to membership benefits related to app development and distribution, such as Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, while App Store Connect roles determine access to app management, financial information, analytics, and more for apps on the App Store. Starting Feb. 12, these teams will be unified for organization memberships. Each organization will have one team with one set of roles across the Apple Developer website and App Store Connect. Management of users and roles will be done in App Store Connect. Apple says the changes won’t affect individual memberships or Apple Developer Enterprise Program memberships.
