How Do I Use the Numberpad Keys On an External Keyboard To Perform Shortcuts?

I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro and I’m using an external keyboard with a numberpad (Keychron K1).
I’m trying to take a snip screenshot with shift+command+4 but the shortcut only works with the “4” key located above the letter keys and not the numberpad “4” key to the right of the letter keys.
