What’s new in Apple’s iOS 18.5 beta

![]() On Wednesday, Apple released the first beta of iOS 18.5 to developers for testing. With iOS 19 slated to debut in a few months, work on iOS 18 is tapering off, and iOS 18.5 introduces only a small set of minor features. Juli Clover for MacRumors: We’ve rounded up what’s new so far, but Apple could add additional features in upcoming betas. If you tap on the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the Mail app, you can now toggle Contact Photos on and off directly from this interface. There’s also an option to turn off Group By Sender. In the Settings app, if you go to General and tap on AppleCare and Warranty, there’s now a banner with an AppleCare logo and an option to learn more about AppleCare coverage.
