![]() At a glanceExpert's Rating Pros Colorful protective case Swappable buttons 360-degree ring stand Cons Extra buttons in one color only Our Verdict It’s a quality iPhone case with the benefit of interchangeable colorful buttons. Price When Reviewed This value will show the geolocated pricing text for product undefined Best Pricing Today If we have one criticism of Apple’s Pro phones, it’s the limited range of colors: white, black, blue, and natural titanium on the iPhone 15 models; and white, black, desert, and natural Titanium on the iPhone 16 Pro and Max. If you like the color you picked, of course, you can choose a clear case to show it off, but there’s a reason why most phone cases come in colorful, patterned, character-led, statement, and customizable options. The case comes with case color-matched buttons and a set of orange replacements. Here, the two volume buttons have been swapped.Simon Jary / Foundry The latest protective case from Torras, the $64.99/£49.99 Ostand OAir available for the iPhone 16 Pro and 15/16 Pro Max, offers a range of new colors—Forest Green, Violet Purple, Amber Brown, Obsidian Black, Coral Pink. But that’s not the best reason to buy it. That would be the exciting option to swap out the buttons for a brighter alternative. But what sets this case apart isn’t the case itself; it’s the buttons. Torras supplies a set of color-matching buttons pre-installed with each case, but in a neat surprise, also offers a set of five bright orange buttons to mix things up. Popping the regular case buttons out is simple and adding the new ones is less fiddly than I thought it would be. iPhone 16 Pro with an orange Power button.Simon Jary / Foundry The case also features its own capacitive Camera Control cover, but this isn’t replaceable due to its touch sensitivity. Replacing the buttons adds a small but unique flash of color that makes a big difference—think of the Apple Watch Ultra’s orange Action button but on your iPhone. Aside from the button choice, the OAir is a solid but translucent case equipped with what Torras calls 360-degree “aerospace-grade airbag” corner bumpers and the obligatory “military-grade” drop protection. You can see this in the photo below, with the corners especially protected from drops. The front bezel and back camera lens ridge are also formidable. Simon Jary / Foundry Like other models in the sometimes baffling-to-differentiate Torras Ostand case collection, the OAir features a clicky magnetic in its back. This can be pulled out, tilted, and rotated all the way round. Playing with the ring stand is almost addictive in a fidget-toy way. The case is MagSafe-friendly friendly so you can wirelessly charge your iPhone. Price The Torras Ostand OAir iPhone case is priced at $64.99 or £49.99. It’s not the cheapest case but we don’t trust anything under $30 anyway and recommend only a handful of trusted brands, of which Torras is one. Simon Jary / Foundry Should you buy the Torras Ostand OAir iPhone case? What piqued our interest in the Torras Ostand OAir iPhone case is its interchangeable buttons. This sets it out from the crowd, but we have no qualms also recommending it for a fine build quality, robust protection, and neat and handy pull-out 360-degree ring stand. If you’re looking for something different, we have reviewed and tested the best iPhone cases for iPhone 16, as well as our favorite cases for the iPhone 15 family.
