Vimeo streaming app returns to Apple TV
Apple TV 4K
Vimeo’s streaming app has made a comeback to the Apple TV platform. The video hosting and sharing service announced today the launch of its revamped Apple TV app, which had been absent from the platform for roughly two years.
Devon Hourihan for Vimeo:

The Vimeo App is back on Apple TV.
Problem: Watching high-quality Vimeo content on your big screen meant relying on workarounds, limiting your ability to browse, discover, and instantly access videos.
Solution: We’ve rebuilt our Apple TV app, offering a powerful way to discover and watch ad-free videos. Easily browse Staff Picks, access all your saved content and personal library, and enjoy enhanced playback with chapters, speed controls, and multi-language options.
Why it’s important: Watch high-quality, ad-free videos from the world’s best indie creators (and you!) on bigger screens — now from the comfort of your couch.

MacDailyNews Take: The all-new Vimeo app is compatible with Apple TV boxes running tvOS 18 or higher and supports discovering, searching for, and viewing videos that have been uploaded to Vimeo.
To download the Vimeo app for Apple TV:

Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
Search for the ‘Vimeo’ app or visit ‘App Store: Vimeo‘.
Select the ‘Get’ button to download and install the app.
