Blood oxygen sensing shows no sign of returning to Apple Watch any time soon

Apple removed blood oxygen monitoring from the Apple Watch in early 2024. Somebody has to blink for it to return, and it looks like neither Masimo nor Apple are going to budge.Blood oxygen monitoring, sometimes seen as pulse oximetry, is a non-invasive way of measuring the oxygen saturation level (SpO2) in your blood.
