New details emerge about the iPhone 17 Pro: Brighter display, longer battery life

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, expected to be anounced on Tuesday, could feature a more efficient display, improved thermal efficiency, and a larger battery. This is according to a report by a leaker who goes by Setsuna Digital on China-based Weibo. This leaker has made several reports in the past that have been accurate.

Setsuna Digital states that the iPhone 17 Pro will have a higher peak brightness and be able to maintain a higher brightness level for a longer period of time. Another recent report stated that the iPhone 17 Pro could use an anti-reflective coating on the cover glass and thus drastically reduce reflections, which would also deliver a better viewing experience.

Setsuna Digital also reports that the iPhone 17 Pro will offer a more stable gaming experience with fewer frame drops under constant load due to the A19 Pro chip. Also, both models will be equipped with larger batteries, with the 17 Pro Max’s battery exceeding the 5,000mAh mark, the highest battery capacity of any iPhone.
