Apple reportedly has TEN more products ready to launch in the coming months

Between four new phones, three new watches, and a new set of earbuds, Apple had lots to talk about at its Awe Dropping press event earlier this month. But these eight launches were only the tip of the iceberg, according to a new report pointing to ten more products on the way.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg reporter and respected leaker Mark Gurman discusses the Apple products which he says are “in the tank for 2025 and the first half of 2026.” That covers a lot of ground, including a spring event, if Apple chooses to hold one next year, and even WWDC 2026. But before we get that far, it looks like the company isn’t finished with its plans for this year.

Such a policy certainly isn’t unprecedented. The traditional September event, where Apple announces new flagship phones and the latest updates to its smartwatch lineup, is by far the biggest date in the company’s calendar. But Apple often has products left over that don’t make it into the September presentation for reasons of time or relevance, and can’t wait until the spring. Some years, these get separate events (in COVID-affected 2020, the company held consecutive events in September, October, and November), but they are often announced more quietly via a press release and a note on the website.

At this point nothing is certain. Even if Gurman’s sources are perfectly accurate, Apple could change its plans. But here’s how things look at the moment.

Products we’s likely get in 2025

iPad Pro (M5): Probably coming in October, making it the first Apple device with an M5. No other major upgrades are expected.

MacBook Pro (M5): Apple tends to update the MacBook Pro in the fall, but Gurman says we might have to wait until spring 2026 for this one. Little more than a new chip is expected.

Standalone Mac monitor: One of two new monitors on the way. This one will arrive “either the very tail end of this year or early next year,” likely alongside the new Macs.

Products probably coming in 2026

MacBook Air (M5): Apple has established a spring timetable for the MacBook Air, and rumors suggest the M5 model will continue that schedule.

iPhone 17e: Expected in the spring, the new model could have a redesigned display with a Dynamic Island.

Smart home hub: Apple’s so-called HomePad smart home hub is slated for the spring, nearly a year after it was originally rumored to arrive. Gurman reports it will have “the next-generation Siri in tow,” which was also delayed from its 2025 release.

Products with an unclear timeframe

Vision Pro: Gurman says this won’t be the Vision Pro’s true successor, and that a thinner and lighter model is coming in 2027. This update will likely bring little more than a new chip.

AirTag: A new AirTag has been rumored for a while with new security features, so it could arrive at any moment. There have been hints that it is imminent, so a 2025 release is possible.

HomePod mini: Apple hasn’t updated its HomePod mini since its 2020 debut, but a new model with a new processor and better sound could be coming very soon.

Apple TV 4K: The next Apple TV 4K will reportedly have a new chip and possibly some Apple Intelligence features. It could arrive later this year.

There was a time when October was considered iPad time at Cupertino, following iPhones and watches in September. But the October event has become less predictable in recent years, and tends to happen (2021, 2023) only when there are major Mac announcements. Last year, Apple opted to skip an event for its fall releases, which included a redesigned M4 Mac mini.

In other words, the prospects of another event this fall appear to hinge on whether any of the big new products are ready. If the only thing Apple has to announce is the M5 iPad Pro (with potentially a new monitor to follow in November or December), a press release seems the more likely plan.
