Apple TV teams up with Peacock to offer both streaming services for $14.99 a month

On Thursday, Apple and NBCUniversal announced the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle, where customers can sign up for access to both Apple TV and the Peacock Premium video streaming services for a monthly fee of $14.99, a 30 percent savings. An option to subscribe to Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus is also available for $19.99 per month. The bundle will be available on October 20.

For Apple One subscribers on the Family or Premier plans, customers can sign up for Peacock Premium Plus and receive a 35 percent discount. The services cost $12.99 (Apple TV) and $10.99 (Peacock), so the savings would be about $9 a month for the standard plan and $10 a month for the premium plan with Apple TV. Current Apple One subscribers can save about $6 a month on Peacock.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this all-inclusive bundle of incredible programming and to bring Apple TV’s beloved shows and movies to more viewers in more places,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president, in a press release. “From acclaimed originals to can’t-miss live sports, the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle unites the best of entertainment in a simple and seamless experience.”

Anyone who subscribes to one service but not the other will be able to view a curated sample selection of shows. For example, Apple TV subscribers who are not on Peacock will be able to watch up to three episodes of Peacock shows, including Bel-Air, Happy’s Place, Law & Order, Real Housewives of Miami, and other shows. Peacock subscribers not on Apple TV will be able to watch up to three episodes of Foundation, Palm Royale, Silo, Slow Horses, and others.

Apple recently rebranded its video streaming service, dropping the “+” from the original Apple TV+ name. Apple also recently announced that F1 The Movie will be coming to Apple TV on December 12.
