Nvidia hotfix curbs aggressive CPU usage by latest GeForce driver

Last Tuesday, Nvidia’s Game Ready Driver 430.39 ushered in support for the company’s new GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card, GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1650 laptop GPUs, seven new G-Sync Compatible monitors, and Mortal Kombat 11, along with the usual odds and ends. That’s a lot of stuff! Unfortunately, the complex update also introduced gremlins in some systems, leading to higher-than-usual CPU usage.
