House Judiciary Committee: Attorney General Barr in Contempt of Congress

mercredi 8 mai 2019, 22:31 , par BoingBoing
The House Judiciary Committee today voted on its contempt resolution on Attorney General Bill Barr.
In a 24-16 vote split along party lines, the House Judiciary committee voted to hold Attorney General Barr in contempt of congress for failing to turn over Special Counsel Robert Mueller's unredacted report, hours after Trump asserted executive privilege.
The matter now goes before the full House of Representatives.

NEW: The House Judiciary Committee has voted 24-16 to find AG Bill Barr in contempt. It now goes to the full House for consideration. This is the first contempt proceeding of the Trump administration (and probably not the last, the way things are going) https://t.co/J7AfEl6a8q
