New study shows mouth bacteria could cause "direct damage to brain tissue" and accelerate Alzheimer's disease

A study published in the journal Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience says a common oral bacteria (Fusobacterium nucleatum) might exacerbate the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
