Super God Mode for Windows grants easy control over 1,200 settings
Although Microsoft allows Windows users to tweak all kinds of system settings, not everything can be customized. Even when playing around in the Control Panel, there are hidden features that are hard to find, making it hard to tap the full potential of Windows customization.

Well, there’s a remedy for that — a so-called “Super God Mode” tool that’s free to download and unlocks all kinds of powers.

Unlock Super God Mode with this free tool

Super God Mode is a free tool offered for download via this GitHub project page. With it, you can unlock access to over 1,200 different Windows settings in one neat little command center, allowing you to gain complete control and change almost anything.

Under the hood, Super God Mode is actually a PowerShell script that automatically creates various shortcuts to folders, settings, logs, and more for your convenience. The tool can also create CSV files with details on each shortcut so you know what they do.

Fun fact: The term “God Mode” originally comes from gaming, where cheat codes could sometimes unlock a god-mode state that made the player invulnerable and extremely powerful. The term is now used outside of gaming whenever someone has “god-like” control over a particular system.

Using Super God Mode for Windows

To use Super God Mode, go to the GitHub project’s Releases page and download the ZIP file for the latest release.

Once downloaded, extract the ZIP file and you’ll get a folder with two important files inside: the Super_God_Mode.ps1 file (PowerShell script) and the SuperGodMode-EasyLauncher.bat file.

Double-click the SuperGodMode-EasyLauncher.bat file to start the tool, which activates the PowerShell script and creates a new folder that’s named Super God Mode. This folder contains all the important Windows shortcuts across various subfolders, plus some tips and statistics.

Optional: When you run Super God Mode, you can specify parameters that alter the script’s behavior. For example, skip the creation of certain types of shortcuts or prevent grouping shortcuts by application name. Learn more about these parameters on the GitHub page under the “CLI Parameters” section.

Once the Super God Mode folder is created, you can move it to wherever you want — for example, the desktop — and you’ll always have access.

Super God Mode doesn’t actually change any settings; it simply provides you with shortcuts to various settings that you can then change yourself. However, not all shortcuts work on all Windows versions.

Important: Super God Mode is an interesting way to control Windows, but you should never tweak settings that you don’t understand. Doing so could jeopardize the stability of your PC.
