Several new features are coming to Windows 11 24H2 this month

According to Windows Latest, the December update for Windows 11 24H2 is going to be packed with several big features and changes. Not surprising given that it’s Microsoft’s last update of the year. Among other things, the update will bring the ability to change the layout of the date and time in the taskbar, allowing the box to take up less space for users who prefer compact designs. Get Windows 11 Pro for cheap Windows 11 Pro Furthermore, we’ll be getting more jump list options in context menus. For example, right-clicking on the icon for the Screenshot tool will bring up timer options to take screenshots in 3, 5, or 10 seconds. Expect lots of new jump lists, especially for system apps in the Start menu. If you have RGB devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, etc.) that support the Dynamic Lighting feature in Windows, the next update is going to introduce a simplified Dynamic Lighting page in Settings that will allow you to tweak and control all supported RGB devices. Task Manager is getting some interface improvements, too. Details about connected storage devices will be clearer, making it easier to see what type of SSD or HDD is labeled and how it’s performing. Even though Windows 11 24H2 has been quite a mess ever since it started rolling out in October, we hope this final update of the year will be pretty good and address several issues. Fingers crossed!
