InkPoster’s digital art displays need power only to upload a new image
The InkPoster, unveiled at CES 2025, aims to revolutionize the display market with a low-power, high-resolution alternative to power-hungry LCD displays. Developed through a collaboration between PocketBook, E Ink, and Sharp, these new screens combine eco-conscious technology with artistic sophistication to introduce the world’s first digital color ePaper poster.

At the heart of the InkPoster is the E Ink Spectra 6 screen, a cutting-edge display technology that delivers vibrant colors and a true ink-on-paper experience without emitting harmful blue light or generating heat.

The InkPoster only consumes power during image updates, allowing the screens to indefinitely maintain static images at zero wattage. With a battery life of up to one year on a single charge, the InkPoster combines low maintenance with unparalleled energy efficiency.

Available in three models, the InkPoster caters to diverse spaces and needs. The flagship 31.5-inch model is priced at $2,400 and boasts a resolution of 2560 × 1440, pixels making it an ideal centerpiece for large, immersive spaces.

The 28.5-inch model, priced at $1,700, pairs the E Ink Spectra 6 screen with Sharp’s IGZO technology for enhanced image updates and flexibility. For more intimate settings, the 13.3-inch model, priced at $599, combines portability with elegance, making it perfect for curated art walls or smaller interiors.

Each model is housed in a durable aluminum frame and features a matte finish for a glare-free viewing experience. The frame is equipped with a dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) adapter, while USB-C provides an efficient recharging solution. The InkPoster’s app offers access to thousands of curated artworks, ranging from classic masterpieces to contemporary designs, so that anyone can transform their living space into a dynamic art gallery. Additionally, users can upload personal photos or NFTs, ensuring a deeply customizable experience.

Designed for versatility, the InkPoster can be rotated vertically or horizontally, adapting to different styles and layouts. Its energy-efficient, zero-watt maintenance makes it an ideal choice for eco-conscious consumers looking to integrate technology and art without compromising on sustainability.

The InkPoster will be available for purchase starting mid-spring 2025, promising to kick off a new era for digital art and information displays.
