AI is the future of security operations but staff needn’t fear for their jobs

A new survey from Abnormal AI, of nearly 500 security leaders and SOC analysts across the US and UK, shows a rare consensus among cybersecurity leaders and frontline analysts, that AI is no longer optional but is becoming the foundation of the modern security operations center (SOC). SOC employees needn’t fear for their jobs, however, as 96 percent of leaders say they have no plans to reduce headcount as AI adoption accelerates.
