Seagulls stealing your chips? Have you tried shouting at them?

Growing up on the coasts of England, I was untroubled by the seagulls. It's as if we had some kind of cosmic bargain: they did't steal my chips, and I didn't yell at them. This is not the usual human experience of Larus argentatus, of course, and any tourist visiting Bognor Regis or Prestatyn or Seaton Carew will surely observe or experience acts of mass larceny committed by the fluttering mobs. — Read the rest
