If America's trains are often the butt of jokes, Amtrak is laughing today: the national rail company is enjoying record ridership and revenue, according to the latest quarterly numbers.

Amtrak closed fiscal year (FY) 2025 (October 2024 – September 2025) with record ridership and revenue.
