Spector has unveiled a new line of basses with the Euro RST series. The 4- and 5-string basses feature the company’s classic design with updated tonewoods, enhanced electronics, and exclusive stain options.
Our friend David Alfred sent in this great video of Czech bassist Tomáš Kedzior’s song “Alvarado,” which features the percussionist Ester Švábková and clarinetist Veronika Coganová. Starting with solo bass, the song continues to evolve.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be touring for the first time since guitarist John Frusciante rejoined the band in late 2019. Bassist Flea and the group revealed the trek in a spoof news segment.

Bob Moore, whose enormous tone underpinned countless country hits, has passed away at the age of 88. Country Music Hall of Fame CEO Kyle Young released a statement following the bass legend’s death.
