Brand new features:

-NEW! Your choice of plate - choose either Copper, Stainless Steel, or Cold Rolled Steel as found in legendary vintage plate reverb units! Discounts available for multiple orders!

-All new suspension and plate mounting system for increased vibration isolation and increased max reverb time - from 3.6s to 4.8s! (full decay time range is from.7s - 4.8s)

-New discrete JFET+BJT pickup opamp design that lowers noise, improves headroom massively, and sounds great!

-Improved discrete driver amp design - new low-pass filter design and internally adjustable compensation EQ network for better L/R piezo driver matching.

-Bipolar rail voltage increased to +/-30VDC for better headroom.

-The all-new external power supply reduces hum to zero.

-The size of the unit has been reduced about 1-2" all around for cheaper international/domestic shipping - all while maintaining the same plate size.

-All of the aluminum side panels are double the thickness for extra strength.

-New custom light grey faceplate for better contrast with the labels.

-Adjustable feet height for keeping the unit stable.

Input/output transformers can be specified before ordering (some options may be more expensive - let me know before checkout) - these will ship with high-end Jensen transformers unless otherwise specified.

NEW: I am currently in the design stages of the new optional CuPlate-1R rack-mount remote damper control (+$900). The remote will be housed in a 1U x 6" depth rackmount chassis with a horizontal linear decay time meter for viewing the position of the damper. It will have a "Decay Time" +/- momentary rocker switch to control the damper position. The control system will be a high-precision silicone-damped voice coil motor for quiet and smooth operation - powered by a custom linear regulated power supply. The default RJ45 remote cable length will be approx. 25 ft - longer remote cable lengths will be extra. Let me know before checkout if you'd like this option.

Condition: small scratches/scrapes/imperfections throughout - common to hand-made items.

Special considerations: The CuPlate-2 should be located in a quiet equipment room, closet, or humidity/temp controlled basement for best isolation from vibrations and noise. The unit must be kept away from strong sources of RFI (high powered Wi-Fi router) or EMR (power transformers, electric motors, microwaves, etc.).

NOTE: The design of the CuPlate will be constantly improved as new units ship out - current specifications/cosmetics may change from the unit pictured.
