Thunderbolt 3

There doesn't seem to be much information being spread on the Internet regarding future digital mixers adopting or utilizing Thunderbolt 3.
Personally I have become so anti USB v? (regardless of the version) because to date I have not been able to use any of them with 100% satisfaction. There always seems to be some feature that doesn't live up to the hype & I'm getting tired of trying all the possible scenarios to get the product to perform what has been advertised. This literally makes a seasoned DAW user feel like an amature when confronted with these products. I recently returned my Midas M32 due to a shortcoming of DAW automation & bought a StudioLive 32 Presonus but am waiting for Presonus to add 44.1k as a sampling option due to 20 years of projects that have been produced using that format. I can't use the mixer to complete many of the projects that were started using 44.1k as the base sampling rate. Future projects can be started with 48k but my needs are such that I need to complete at least 50 projects first. The minute I hear of Thunderbolt 3 being used on any brand of Digital mixer that can provide 32 + channels of audio processing will prompt me to trade in or sell every piece of USB gear that I own. I'm prepared to buy a PC with 64gb + of RAM that utilizes a Thunderbolt 3 interface so I can achieve near zero latency performance. I do hope that this is just around the corner because I've wasted so much time and money for mediocre results. I use 10 to 20 VI's with 4 + Reverbs with a 100 to 300 track count on my projects so my needs are hard on my PC. I've recently looked into finding a PC that can provide the base hardware as a starter system & found a HP-Z8 desktop that was priced @ $12,000 with 64gb of RAM & a couple of super fast M.2 SSD's. At least there is some hope at the end of the tunnel to provide a 100% professional computer that will perform without any issues. I know it sounds like overkill but I've done this since 1988 & put up with my last PC for 8 years so it's time to get something that provides more consistency than what I've experienced to date. Cheers to all!
