New DSD option available for QES Labs PAD-2 Mk2 stereo master A-D converter

QES Labs broadens the range of available configuration options for the latest 2019 releases of the PAD-2 Mk2 stereo A/D converter by adding the new DSD64 and DSD128* engine option, on PCM4222 and the fast Xilinx CPLD.

PAD-2 Mk2 features:
2 Channel Stereo Analog to Digital Converter
Intended for Mastering, Mixing and Recording
Totally passive analog input stage, for an incredibly low noise floor
Three independent custom wound toroidal core mains transformers for logic, digital and analog sections
12 independent fully regulated low noise power supply sections for improved clarity and noise free operation
Entirely balanced signal route for improved noise rejection
High speed low noise custom wound audio transformers with Bessel filter behaviour, for precise transient response, linear phase/constant group delay, natural anti-aliasing
Internal input trimming, factory default 0VU/+4dBu: -18dBFS (-14 on request)
20 segment input level bargraph, with overload and sampling rate indication
OLED display showing Fs and Digital Filter selections
Button controls for Fs, Store settings, External Sync, and digital decimation filter selection
Galvanically isolated AES-3 digital output (additional AES output on request)
Optional DSD64 and DSD128 outputs, SDIF-3 format, 2x BNC (L, R), WC Out
Linear frequency response over the entire audio range and beyond
