The Fender Jason Isbell Telecaster is a thing of beauty
I love me a good double-bound Tele, and apparently so does Jason Isbell, if his new signature Fender is anything to go by.
It’s finished in a gorgeous Chocolate Sunburst with ’59-style Telecaster Custom cream double-binding and it’s given the Fender Road Worn aging treatment, which is a feature I really like, not particular for the look but for the feel. It has a vintage-style mid-’60s “C”-shaped Maple neck with a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard and a set of custom Fender Jason Isbell Telecaster Pickups. The bridge is a custom-modified unit with vintage-style brass saddles, and the neck has a vintage-accurate 7.25″ radius.
