Hearing Reverb and Delay FX

Hi folks,

Am incredibly new to production and mixing - only really started digging in these last few years and am particularly interested in late 70s/80s post-punk and electronic music stuff.

My question is, what tips do you have for hearing and identifying spatial effects? For example, I'm trying to work out how the main vocal below has been processed. Is it a fairly standard slap delay placed within a hall-type space or am I way off?
