Both versions are essentially a top-notch large-diaphragm condenser with software integration that powers spot-on modeling of classic mics. For practically endless control, you can swap mic selections, polar patterns, and other characteristics using UA’s user-friendly Sphere DSP plug-in. The LX model boasts 20 vintage and modern mic emulations, plus dual mono blending of multiple mics at once.
