Thanks to the groundbreaking work of Tom Murphy, Gibson has developed a cutting-edge method of aging guitars to give players all the benefits of a finely aged instrument without the usual drawbacks and complications of owning and maintaining an old guitar. These were originally only available in Nashville, but thanks to the opening of Gibson’s Murphy Lab facility in Bozeman, Montana, a suite of vintage-style sonics have become available for players to experience and enjoy.
