Born in 2006, Ignite Amps is an Italian company that builds highly customised hardware amplifiers, and codes software emulations. After being provided with the customer’s build requirements and specifications, the company creates an accurate software simulation which allows the customer to trial and offer feedback before the hardware build commences. Ignite Amps also creates digital emulation plugins of these and other hardware builds which are designed to be used live and in the studio.
Re-coded from the ground up, the Emissary is a no-compromise custom amp that’s built for the kill. It features a versatile clean channel that ranges from pristine cleans to slightly overdriven tones, and a brutal lead channel designed for serious bone-crushing distortions. This module offers a broad tonal palette that is suited not only to the modern metal musician but also a wide variety of other genres.
To match the original sound — and keeping an eye on CPU performance and playability — every single component in the signal path of the physical Emissary tube amplifier’s circuit has been taken into account and modelled in the best possible way. To do this, Ignite Amps use state of the art analogue modelling technology, deriving systems of non-linear differential equations directly from schematics and solving them in real time through carefully optimised C++ code. 
Also included are NadIR — an impulse response loader — and 6 free impulse response files.
