Freqport FT-1 Freqtube: True Analog Processing, Limitless Digital Flexibility

Despite the limitless possibilities of digital control and virtual music production, there’s just something about getting hands-on with physical, analog gear that simply can’t be replicated. Though there are plenty of ways to bridge the analog-digital divide, these are often messy, whether it’s the spaghetti of cable management or the risk of losing quality or character in the process. The bright minds at Freqport weren’t content to leave this state of signal processing the way they found it, devising a solution that marries authentic analog character with digital flexibility: enter the FT-1 Freqtube multi-instance analog processor. This desktop device sports two E83CC/12AX7 high-gain tubes and two 12AT7 mid-gain tubes across four mono-capable stereo channels alongside a slew of customizable tone-crafting tools: eight assignable potentiometers, overdrive, flexible harmonics management, and more.
