Profiling and modeling the symphonic effect was very difficult. I had to write custom signal analysis software to accurately understand its complex LFO modulation scheme. I also discovered that later hardware with higher sample rates such as the SPX900/990 don’t sweep as wide as the original SPX90. V-90 Symphonic faithfully reproduces the original SPX90 symphonic effect at all DAW sample rates.
