1. Launch the effects menu
Imagine that you have audio and video in place in Premiere. Now, you want to know how to fade out music in Premiere Pro. The first step is to open the Effects panel in Premiere Pro.

To do this, find the Window dropdown on the Premiere Pro menu bar. Click here, then choose Effects. You’ll now see Effects as an available option tab next to your Project and Media Browser tabs.
