Neve’s Legendary Outboard Gear: Discussion with Robin Porter

Rupert Neve, in designing now-legendary gear that’s found in top-tier studios around the globe, has made immeasurable contributions to the contemporary musical landscape and shaped some of history’s most iconic records. Though Rupert passed away in 2021, his namesake legacy is proudly continued through Neve’s chief analog designer, Robin Porter, who’s been with Neve for more than 40 years, having joined in 1973 at just 18 years old.
