Channel strip for bass guitar?

I'm looking to buy a channel strip for recording bass guitar only. Currently, I plug in straight into Babyface and rely on plugins, that takes me only so far. Looking to improve the sound. I've narrowed down my choice to the following:

WA73EQ - the cheapest one, no compressor and not sure about Warm Audio in general.

HA73EQ - as above, external psu puts me off as well

Heritage Britstrip - external psu again

Tegeler VTRC - tubes and pultec, very appealing, 3U though

RND Newton - pricey but Thomann include a RNDI in the price until the end of this year which sweetens the deal.

What would you choose, good people of gearspace?
