Tools
My father loved guns. All types. He was enamored with the technology and the art. He began his career as a humble gunsmith, improving his skills and techniques. He invented the triple lug locking bolt action which is used everywhere today. (Hunt stole his ideas after he showed him the drawings)
He went on to become a tool-and-die maker for Bell Helicopters in Dallas.
My love has always been music and acoustics. I began as an tech working with local bands and eventually moved up to mixing, thinking that my destination was to become a mix engineer. But my passion was and has always been the technical side of the business.
I worked as roadie, guitar tech, and monitor/ house engineer. I found my niche while working in the studios of Nashville.
I have honed my skills and craft to become a "tool and die maker" of acoustical tools.
My life's experience can now be used fully to benefit my clients worldwide.
A studio is only a tool. Like a rifle in the hands of an expert marksman, the best tools enable the user to hit his mark every time.
(It's the marksman that hits the mark. The tool makes it easy)
That is my life's work.
All the best!
John
