A New Concept In Sampled Drums (Again)

In June 2024, at Rockfield Studios UK, we spent a whole week tuning a single drum kit.

The result is the most detailed sampling of a drum kit ever undertaken. Not because it has a huge amount of layers or robins (although of course it does), but because each drum was tuned through its full range, with different levels of damping, with sticks + brushes available for each piece.
