Industry Update

So I'm a small operation... ads, sound design, mix, remote VO session runner...

Thought I'd share some things and see what y'all are thinking

1. YES - I have felt the drop in production. Ive heard 40%.... Ive read 30%.... whatever it is, I do have less work. The budgets on the work I do get remain comparable to what they used to be. Not a ton of negotiating down from my clients... just a lot fewer spots. From their reports... their keyboards are collecting dust.

2. No one asks me to deliver atmos ever.... 5.1 for some broadcast things.... never the atmos...

any thoughts / experiences?
