MK609

I’ve had a month to test out and fully get to know my AudioScape MK-609.

Pure bliss!

I can’t say enough good things about it.

As many know, that fully counter clockwise release setting at 100 is where it at for this unit. Everything sounds amazing at that setting. I have it on my main bus, but sometimes, it will just be on the drum/ bass bus. It has that effect that makes you want one for every sub group.

I am one of those people who bought it because I have always used the UA plugin version.

The hardware is a definite improvement!

I also was able to compare it to a real Neve 36609. The AS version, to me, is more smooth and actually more “print ready” to my ears.
