Best male voice mic
Hi guys,
I have seen some threads about this subject but they are a little bit old for most of them.
This thread is an update.
I'm looking for a really good mic for a typical male voice (bass/baritone) under 400$.
A microphone that can pick up both powerful, saturated vocals than deep and detailed ones. Imagine that you have to record Elvis with a modern mic and sound;):rockout: and a clear, clean and powerful lead vocal without autotune like in the 80s.
In my research comparing many microphones, I came to this selection of microphones;
Roswell Mini K47, Warm Audio WA-14, Avantone CV-12, Lauten Audio Series Black LA-220 V2, Shure KSM32.
Then, using Audio Test Kitchen, I really liked the sound of the MXL CR89, but it's a mic that's getting old and few people talk about it.
I wanted to know your opinion and expertise.
Hope this thread helps some people.
Thanks in advance.
