Is this a good DIY (portable) vocal booth idea to treat reverberations ?

A few days ago, I started to search how could I create / buy some portable sound treatment to handle reverb. I travel a lot, so I’m looking for something that’s easy to transport and hopefully simple to store. My first idea was to hang moving blankets on the walls, but that only works if the walls can actually hold them up—which isn’t always the case (no hook, screws etc). So, I thought about putting together (DIY!) a kind of "portable vocal booth" using room divider panels and moving blankets. I’m thinking at least three blankets per side, leaving the front open so I can reach my desk easily (since I’m recording myself and need to see my laptop / daw without any hassle). Here’s a draw to show what I have in mind: Like I mentioned, I’d keep the front open, but if possible, I might add one or two blankets behind my desk for extra sound absorption (in case I can hangout blankets on the wall for example). This is the divider and moving blankets I was looking at: - 12 moving blankets (1.3kg per blanket) - 3 way room panard divider Otherwise, instead of room divider panels, I was told about using photography frame stands like these ones: - Photography stands And setting them up in a V shape instead of a cube around me. Do you think that would be better and more stable? The total cost would be something like 250 CAD (180USD) with clamp tools for the blankets. What do you think? Should I go with panel room divider or photography stands? Or do you have any better idea that would be: portable, storable and allowing me to access to a desk or at least my computer while sitting? Thanks in advance!
