October 22, 2024 – Xperimenta Audio introduces Grand'Organo, a groundbreaking virtual instrument for Kontakt Full that captures the essence and grandeur of historical pipe organs with unmatched precision and flexibility. Designed for composers, organists, and producers, Grand'Organo brings the majestic sound of a grand cathedral organ directly to your fingertips. With 8 dynamic Crescendo layers, 3 round-robin staccato articulations, and over 15 stops to create up to 455 sound combinations, this library ensures versatility for both classical and modern compositions. Additionally, Grand'Organo includes multiple microphone positions, room and convolution reverb, and a range of creative effects, giving composers limitless opportunities to shape their sound with precision and depth. Mascioni: A Masterpiece of Craftsmanship At the heart of Grand'Organo is the Mascioni Opus 618, one of Italy's finest pipe organs, recorded at the Church of Santa Maria Mediatrice in the heart of Rome. Mascioni, founded in 1829, is renowned for high-quality organs, including the grand pipe organ at Milan's Duomo, the largest in Italy. We captured the distinct and characteristic sound of this magnificent instrument in its original environment, a beautiful church in central Rome. With Grand'Organo, you have access to over 15 carefully selected stops, creating up to 455 possible sound combinations. This flexibility allows musicians to craft their unique organ soundscapes and combinations, thanks to the 6 customizable presets. Unparalleled Realism and Expressive Dynamics. The library features 8 dynamic Crescendo layers, allowing for powerful crescendos and expressive dynamics that give musicians the ability to shape each performance with nuance and emotion. Additionally, the organ's staccato articulations are captured with 3 round robins, ensuring natural and varied repetitions for a more lifelike performance. The instrument was meticulously sampled with 3 microphone settings, to preserve not only the depth and clarity of the organ but also the rich acoustic character of the church in which it was recorded. Every note reflects the unique resonance of space, allowing users to experience the grandeur of this specific organ in a remarkable setting. Endless Sonic Possibilities Beyond the authentic recreation of the historic organ, Grand'Organo offers a vast range of creative tools for modern musicians. With 15 creative layers that can be added to the core sound, as well as features like two LFOs, 20 space presets, distortion, and formant control, the library opens limitless opportunities for crafting inventive and experimental sonic landscapes. Historic Sound, Modern Features While Grand'Organo is deeply rooted in the authentic sounds of a classic pipe organ, it also comes equipped with modern features tailored to today's musicians. These include customizable microphone positions, room and convolution reverb options, and a variety of creative effects. Whether you're seeking the soaring echoes of a grand cathedral or exploring new experimental sounds, Grand'Organo has the tools to make it happen.
