So, the official support for Maschine MKI & MKII generation of controllers hits EOL today, any bets on just when is Maschine 3.0 launching?
What has been said so far:
- Upgrade to Maschine 3 from Maschine 2 will cost 29 USD
- Maschine 3 will be available as 3 separate products:
1) Maschine 3 application only
2) Maschine 3.0 content pack
3) Maschine 3 bundle (includes the app, new content pack and old bundle inclusions such as Massive, FM8 etc)
NI reps have also stated a new update to M+ should be dropping soon, includes the improved Audio kernel which sould improve USB CC Audio interface support, among other things. At this point in time however, it is unclear whether this M+ update will be for Maschine 2 or Maschine 3..
What can we realistically expect to see in terms of features? My guess is they'll at least recycle the stem separation tool from Traktor 4
