Semi-circular studio / listening room
Hello all,
I am about to move to a new flat where where the living room (which will be used as listening room as well as jam/recording space) has a semi-circular section with windows. I know already its not ideal from an audio point of view but it is what it is:lol: Floor plan is attached.
What do you guys think the ideal speaker placement would be for a listening / mixing be? I am also looking to add acoustic treatment to the room so I'm open to any advice and suggestions. I am not a professional recording engineer but there will be a high end audio(phile) stereo setup as well as some recording gear there so I would like to get the best out of the room.
The room will also be used for guitar & acoustic drums (only for jamming and recording demos) so I would like to minimize natural reverb & relfections by adding acoustic panels / traps where needed.
Thanks in advance!
