Bruno Mars studio mic

Anyone know what mic Bruno Mars has been using in his recent recordings? Both "Die With a Smile" and APT are absolutely killer. That’s the kind of vocal tone I’ve been after for a while. It’s present without being overly bright, it's got weight, but doesn’t come off as vintage.

It definitely doesn’t sounds like the usual suspects for pop vocals (Sony C800G or the 251). Doesn’t sound like a U47 to me either.

I’m stumped! Anyone got a clue?

As for the preamp, I'm guessing it could be a Chandler TG2, judging by the way the top end sounds.
