Toontrack releases Hard Rock Organ EZkeys MIDI pack

Today, Toontrack announced the release of the Hard Rock Organ EZkeys MIDI pack, a new MIDI expansion inspired by hard rock, prog and progressive metal. This EZkeys MIDI pack, which marks the seventh release in Toontrack’s ongoing Metal Month campaign, was developed primarily for use with Toontrack’s Session Organ EKX for EZkeys 2.

About the Hard Rock Organ EZkeys MIDI pack

Having permeated virtually every genre so far in modern music history, the Hammond* is no stranger to hard rock and heavy metal. On the contrary – with a voice ample to make a dent in any wall of guitars and expressive enough to take the lead in any given scenario – it’s become an unquestionable staple on the heavier spectrum of music. Even more so, with the surge of classic rock and prog-inspired bands in the many offshoots of the modern metal genre, the distorted roar of the organ certainly is no stranger to even the heaviest of metal either.

Primarily inspired by the pioneering bands of the 1970s and 1980s but also touching on a breadth of more modern and prog-influenced metal of today, this MIDI pack offers an eclectic range of song-starting material. Expect MIDI files covering anything from the doomy, dark and ominous to the hard-hitting, percussive and staccato-like – all with that unmistakable organ player feel attached to them.
