New Synth from Toybox—FM Zone
mardi 3 décembre 2024, 20:13 , par Gearslutz
The synth is a boutique FM based synthesiser with modern features, cutting edge DSP and a streamlined interface for endless inspiration and experimentation. Like the plugin's predecessor Buzz Zone, the synth plugin has been designed with Toybox's modular, 'west-coast' approach to circuit layout, with gritty oscillators, subtle cross-modulations and high-quality modelling giving the plugin its unique sound. The synthesiser features two powerful engines that can be layered together for a variety of complex sounds and textures. The ‘Synth’ engine features a powerful FM oscillator with a variety of 'special' FM operator types (FM, supersaw, additive, physical modelling etc) that can cross-modulate each other for expressive, harmonically rich timbres. The additional ‘Sample’ engine can be used to mix textures or attacks samples over the sound. The interface features a separate multi segment envelope generator (MSEG) for each of the synths main controls for flexible and fluid sound sculpting. Features: ▪ 9 multi segment envelopes, one for each of the 9 main controls, with an intuitive 'auto curve' function. ▪ Streamlined yet versatile interface with all controls on a single screen. ▪ Deep analog modelling based on the cream of Eurorack modules and legendary vintage synths. ▪ 'State of the art' DSP and analog circuit modelling. ▪ Creative routing, unusual filters plus FM, AM, ring modulation and wave folding to creating harmonically rich analog timbres for modern sound design. ▪ Over 500 presets included from professional sound designers for everything from massive pads to modern drums hits. ▪ Available for MacOS, Windows and iOS (iPad only). Pricing and availability: The plugin is available immediately for the intro price of $32 ($64 regular) for MacOS and Windows and $9.99 ($12.99 regular) for iPad.
