Wire Grind releases Rasp FREE VST Plug-in

Rasp is free VST plug-in effect. If makes any audio sound gritty, noisy, or raspy. While it is not a conventional distortion effect, its sound is very similar to distortion.

Wire Grind has released Rasp, a non-overdriving grittiness and noise effect. While Rasp is distortion-like, the internal workings differ from that of traditional distortion. The sound ranges from slight toughness to over-the-top fuzz.

Rasp has a number of potential uses. These include,

adding subtle grittiness to drums and vocals
adding noise prior to modulated and automated filtering effects
creating pad sounds
