NAMM 2025: Louder Than Liftoff introduces 1-TRACK 500 Series Analog Tape Emulation and Console Mojo
mercredi 22 janvier 2025, 22:42 , par Gearslutz
We’re thrilled to unveil 1-TRACK, a streamlined 500 series module that embodies the soul of analog tape and discrete transformer-coupled console mojo. 1-TRACK captures the vibe of a pre-digital workflow—when tape decks and analog consoles shaped the sound of every recording. This module strips away complexity in favor of intuitive controls that deliver professional and euphonic results. A Sonic Time Machine 1-TRACK reimagines tape emulation with three distinct analog processing stages: TAPE: Built on our meticulously engineered TAPE•C Colour Module, the tape emulation reproduces the iconic saturation, phase shift, and harmonic richness of classic tape decks from the 70’s and 80’s, but without the maintenance headaches. Increase saturation by turning up the REC LVL knob, and adjust output level feeding the MOJO stage with the OUT knob. MOJO: Engage the MOJO button to activate a classic American console circuit, powered by our Mass Drivr module. Featuring the Rogue Six discrete op amp and a USA-made transformer, this stage adds girth, grit, and punch to your sound. EMPHASIS EQ: Effortlessly shape your tone with this single-knob EQ, which adjusts the frequency response before or after tape emulation. Turn it right for midrange presence or left for silky warmth. Alter the tape response character with the TEXTURE button. Intuitive Tone, Fast With 1-TRACK, we’ve done away with endless tweaking. The streamlined controls—complete with CAL markings for unity gain—make it perfect for artists and engineers who demand mix-ready sonics quickly. Whether you’re processing guitars, synths, drums, or bass this module delivers “the sound” especially when used prior the first pass of A/D conversion. Availability: now accepting orders for an estimated ship date of 2/17/25. Price: $549 (no middlemen yay!) Visit the Louder Than Liftoff website to learn more about the full feature set. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer in this thread. Thanks, Brad
