NAMM 2025: Kazrog and Avalon announce AD 2077 / AD 2055 Native EQ plugin bundle

Kazrog and Avalon Design have announced the upcoming release of two new software plugins: the Kazrog Avalon AD 2077 and AD 2055. These plugins emulate Avalon's AD 2077 and AD 2055 analog stereo equalizers, making their sound and functionality available in digital form for the first time.

The AD 2077 plugin replicates Avalon's Mastering Equalizer, known for its sonic detail, smoothness, and extensive frequency options. The AD 2055 plugin recreates Avalon's Class A equalizer, offering its characteristic warmth and precision. Both plugins are designed for seamless use within digital audio workstations (DAWs) and are compatible with Windows and macOS.

This marks the second collaboration between Kazrog and Avalon Design, following the release of the Avalon VT-747SP plugin in 2023.

Emulation of the Avalon AD 2077 hardware.
104 frequency settings per channel.
Wide bandwidth (-3dB 1Hz to 450kHz).
Dual mono or stereo-linked operation.
Mastering-grade oversampling.

Features of the AD 2055 Plugin:

Emulation of the Avalon AD 2055 hardware.
Extended frequency range with "X10" mid-band mode.
Wide bandwidth (-3dB 1Hz to 450kHz).
Dual mono or stereo-linked operation.
Mastering-grade oversampling.

Availability

The Kazrog Avalon AD 2077 and AD 2055 plugin bundle is scheduled for release in Spring 2025. It will be available for purchase and demo on Kazrog's website, pricing TBA.
