Curtis Design Technologies returns with AL-2 Tube Microphone Pair, OPRE2, and OPRE8 Preamps

At NAMM I came across Curtis Design Technologies, looks like they're making a comeback. Their tube mic has unique capsule design fully manufactured by them in the USA in-house. I recall a tape op article positively reviewing them back in the early 2000's, very cool to see these models making their way back to market! The owner of the company was telling me that Gang of Four and Grizzly Bear used them on records.

The preamps look great as well, very high quality engineering and componentry. Clean designs.

I'd love to hear from people who have used the original run to chime in on their experiences with these models from their original run, it's cool to see a Midwest company making condensers and pres fully in house.
